The success of IVF depends on factors such as the age of the couple and fertility issues. Most likely to be successful in young women.

In a large number of cases the cause of female infertility is a disorder in the maturation of conceptive eggs or lack of them at all. The use of oocytes (donor eggs) may occur in cases where a viable pregnancy cannot occur on medical grounds.

What Is the Oocyte Donation

Oocyte donation is the process by which a woman remunerates her egg for in vitro fertilization - "in vitro"

According to the legislation of Ukraine, oocyte donation is anonymous, so IVF clinics do not have the right to show you pictures of your potential egg donor, meaning you are not given a choice in the clinic.

Medical facilities that treat such a method, when used, will necessarily compare the phenotype of the donor and the genetic parent, which in principle is called "blind mating", ie your baby will look like a donor egg.

We will be able to provide you with the information you need about the donor, including photos, unless you have previously agreed with the donor.

All oocyte donors, without fail, must undergo medical tests at the clinic that will conduct the IVF procedure.

Egg Donor Requirements

In order for a woman to be accepted as an oocyte donor to participate in the Program, she must meet the following criteria:

Between the ages of 19 and 30
Physically healthy
Mentally healthy
Nonsmoking
To have regular menstruation
To have both ovaries
Not using drugs
No history of abuse of psychotropic substances
Not have hereditary genetic disorders in the family history
Reliable and mature

Egg Donor Screening

All our donors are absolutely healthy and undergo a thorough examination, testing for genetic and infectious diseases

1. Genetic Screening

Family history will be evaluated to raise awareness of possible hereditary diseases or genetic disorders.

2. Psychological Screening

The donor will be asked to talk with a psychologist to make sure that she fully understands the benefits and risks of egg donation and has proper motives to become a donor.

3. Medical Tests

Blood type and Rh factor. Conclusion of a psychiatrist (once)
Gynecological examination (before each IVF attempt)
Fluorography (valid for 1 year)
Blood test for HIV, RW, for the presence of hepatitis B, C markers (valid for 3 months)
Determination of IgG and IgM to toxoplasma, rubella, cytomegalovirus, herpes virus (valid for 12 months)
A swab on the degree of purity (valid for 2 weeks)
Bacteriological examination of cervical canal material (valid for 12 months)
A swab for oncocytology from the cervix (valid for 12 months)
Karyotype study
Molecular genetic investigations of cystic fibrosis carriers.
